Eco-Friendly and Locally Owned Cleaners

After moving to the Jacksonville area a little over two years ago, Tracey and DeAndrea (“DeeDee”) Norris decided to act on their desire to start their own business. Both Tracey and DeeDee have a background in Information Technology and enjoy helping people.


Tracey and DeeDee met at James Madison University, and even though they dated for several years, most of which were long distances, they were very inseparable. They got married in Jacksonville, FL, and lived in Washington, DC, for several years, which gave their young daughter, Kennedy, quality time with her grandparents, who lived only a few short blocks away. They recently moved to Florida, which allowed their daughter to form that same special bond with DeeDee’s parents, who live close by.

After living the busy lifestyle of city dwellers in Washington DC area, they were looking forward to a better quality of life in Florida. They always knew they wanted to own a business together and The Greener Cleaner gave them the opportunity to own a business that addressed concerns on how to keep homes and businesses safe for families and customers alike, while aligning with their strong belief in an eco-friendly lifestyle. 

Jacksonville, Florida, has proven to be a great move for the Norris family. The neighborhoods are very friendly, the schools are great, there are countless outdoor activities and plenty of places to visit for family outings. In their spare time, they enjoy riding bikes, exploring the city, and traveling, while their daughter, Kennedy, enjoys volleyball, karate, and swimming.
